Are you a custom builder? No. We can customize our existing plans in a Sheryl Homes Addition. What size homes are available? Most homes in North Altus are 2350 – 2400 sq. ft. We start at approximately 2100 sq. ft., and have lots available to accommodate even larger homes with a 3 car garage. A new addition in North Altus is in progress for town homes 1700 to 2000 sq. ft. How long does it take to build your homes? Sheryl Homes normal build time is 4 months depending on the weather and product availabilty. We use standard products, and if they are not available, we use something of equal quality that is available. We cannot wait on special order items. Where should I go for financing? Altus has several good mortgage companies. All homebuyers seek out the best loan for their situations. Do you put in pools? No Can I get solid surface countertops? YES, we offer Gibraltar by Wilsonart, or granite. Most kitchens are in the $5,000.00- $6,500.00 upgrade. Can I choose the paint colors? Our standard is one color through out the home, including the ceilings. Painting different colors in individual rooms is an upgrade charge that varies in price. The darker the color, the higher the price. Can a Safe Room be put into a home? YES, it needs to be started at the footing stage with the new home build. We also can do a shelter in the garage floor at any time, or help with a unit put in the back yard. Do you build outside of Altus? NO, we build only on our developed lots in Altus. Where do you build? We are building in an addition that we are developing in North Altus. We also are building on a few lots in the Southern part of Altus. |
